Troyboy
I feel somewhat like Clive of Derek and Clive fame when he wished to complain to the manager of the Top Rank Ballroom in that I'm not taking No Reply for an answer . I posed the question under maintenance last week 'Who are dacc ?' having purchasing four BMC 1.5 diesel engine glow plugs off ebay for £38 . Despite 200 views I received no replies so I'll try under this heading . I haven't fitted them as yet but I wondered if anyone had heard of this company or had any experiences of these Glow Plugs that have the number 227 and as stated are manufactured by dacc . Hopefully someone will reply if only to recall the terrible behaviour that Clive witnessed whilst in the Top Rank Ballroom and indeed what the manager was up to when he did get to meet him . alan_fincher
I didn't want to reply and raise your hopes because quite a bit of looking, I could turn up no clues at all. I rather suspect it is more likely that nobody has heard of "dacc", rather than that you are being ignored. Who knows though - you may get lucky. Just so you don't think everyone is ignoring you, I have never heard of them, but they are half the price of ASAP ones.

Can you elaborate a bit please? Are Dacc an eBay shop, the label on the box of glow plugs, stamped onto the plugs or what? Richard
bizzard
Just googled Dacc and it looks like they're a South Korean company making auto, aircraft and other parts.
Troyboy
The ebay seller is Shaun McConnell from Penwortham ,near Preston his ebay shop name is Orchidcop and he seems to specialise in BMC 1.5 lift pumps, glow plugs , oil filters and 12 volt fuel pumps . 99.5% feedback so presumably his stuff is OK . The boxes are grey with numerous dacc lettering over red stripes . The glowplugs themselves have dacc on them and the number 227 . No doubt Bizzard has cracked it in that a company in South Korea have started making these realising a market exists . South Korean cars are OK so hopefully these glow plugs will also be OK . At least they haven't attempted to copy Champion or other reputable manufacturers packaging .
