Here's my favourite picture of my boat dogs:

My late girl, Sophie is the one standing & Billy is the cheeky chappie at the bottom. It was taken in 2003 whilst waiting for a lock on the Shropshire Union.

Here's my Avatar pic featuring the current pack with Eddie on the left, Dennis in the footwell & Billy in the front. He's nearly 12 now.

Coming up the Thames earlier in the year..Moored at Wallingford..Sophie having a cuddle!

Now waiting at Thrupp for it to go off red boards so we can go back down it...

Not looking forward to that journey nearly as much

..especially after seeing the video of Osney posted the other day in the Thames thread :o

Had our front rope untied and stolen last night too

Nice looking dogs - not sure about the dodgy looking geezer with them though.... ;)

No, he's a right piece of work. Definately one to avoid!

Make 'em earn their keep, I saytongue.gif

(Yeah, I know, I've posted this before.)

Recognise that spot I think, Stoke Bruerne flight long pound with the nature reserve just past the parapet?

Can you not get a pet passport and avoid quarantine?

Australia does not have an equivalent scheme to the UK Pet Passport scheme and only allows quarantine free pet imports from a very very limited range of places.

The 'pet passport' scheme operated here is about bringing pets in here not so much about taking them to other countries - we went France with our dog last month and there are no checks on anything at all going out - your pet is only checked coming back, as we are regarded as a rabies free country.

Not if you're firm with them and start as you mean to go on...

we had only had him for 3 weeks.

You haven't left him incharge of the throttle have you?
