Given the weather this summer(?), would it be a better idea to paint the hull in bright colours with castles and roses and black the top?

I'm sure I'm not alone but I'm pissed off with being pissed on!

Happy cruising,

Regards

Not sure about your paint scheme idea but I'm pissed off with this weather too.

NOOOOO - No- NEVER!! -AAAAGGGHHHH - pramhoods -- disgusting things

Oh and why are they called 'cruising hoods'?

I've yet to see one ---- cruising

Ah, yes, we were out the previous 2 weeks and at the time it seemed generally grey and grotty, but in hindsight we had some fairly long dry spells and considerably less rain, and we saw plenty of these hoods, out cruising.

Horrible things, but why are they never folded down, even when the weather's dry?

 Is your Steelaway currently moored at Whaley Bridge?

Know what? That potential retirement plan to Queensland gets more tempting by the rainfall. Only problem is - it was pretty grotty there last Christmas......

.......and still waiting for the next-but-one generation to make itself known.

I've got some nice yellowy-orangey paint. Might cheer up some parts!

No such thing as bad weather - only the wrong clothes!

Absolutely, theres some good yachting stuff on ebay, BNWT, we got some excellent stuff that's kept us bone dry this summer, jacket and dungarees add to wellies and you're sorted. I've never thought a brolly really cuts it

Have to admit that on the three week holiday I don't think I had it up once!

We call them 'sheds'!

Actually, now I'm going bald, I need it to keep the sun off!
