Waterways World

Every month I buy Waterways World. I usually pick it up at WH Smith either at home or on my travels on or around the 15th of each month. So far this month - nothing. I enquired at a branch in London and was told it was not out yet.

Does anyone know of any problems with this publication ?

Due date was 19th May for June issue. Had mine 10 days ago but i do subscribe.

Yup same i have got mine - i normally get mine on the 17th of june as i subscribe - it should be out now as i think i saw it in the local brach (Yeovil) the other day!

dont know about waterway world i looked in asda wh smith for any canal mags and neither had any,every other subject seemed to be there bikes fishing caravans the lot but none about canals.subscriptions will be the best option it looks like

Gaggle, when I lived in Birkenhead, the W.H. Smiths there had 2 canal mags each month but that was about 3 years ago.

Unfortunately I can't remember which ones they had but they were available.

Supermarkets rarely stock the waterways magazines. If you are lucky, they may have the odd marine (sea) vessel magazine, but anything else it too specialist.

 

Larger WHSmith should almost certainly stock WW.

We got a june copy.

 

Bought it from the marina/boatyard at market drayton on monday.

 

- Bit of a way from london tho!

Our local branches of W.H.Smith stopped stocking Canal magazines several years ago, although ironicly our Village shop still stocks two of them. I got my June copy of Waterways World on the 13the May from the local Marina Chandlery.

I notice that you can by it online from the Canal Shop Company amongst other places too.

Thanks for all the replies. I think it best if I take out a subscription but in the meantime I will visit WH Smith in Swindon today.

I cant find it either, I was begining to wonder. I`m hopeing to pick a copy up in Crick show tomorrow.
