Getting boat out of water

is there any places around burscough we’re I can get boat out of water please I know there is Wigan dry dock

Mayor's boatyard at Tarleton, St Mary's Marina at Rufford, Scarisbrick Marina.

If a small boat you could even try the slipway at the slipway pub... 

Scarisbrick Marina are usually quite accommodating and would suit if using your own trailer.

I hadn't thought of that!  There's another one at MMBC just the other side of the bridge from Scarisbrick marina.

If it's a V bottom you can't use Wigan dry dock, they won't let you in. 

 

Make sure you tell whoever you use that it's a V before you book.

If you don't find anywhere another option is Hesford Marine on the Bridgewater Canal which would take you 2 days (Approx 15 hours) to reach.

Or even Worsley Dry Dock if you are willing to travel onto the Bridgewater.

Although I have no idea on whether or not they do V hulls- good and helpful people anyhow
