mark99
After years of good service, now intermittantly when I press the "on" button on the generator control panel it does not turn on /energise/light up the 'on' light so I cannot start it. There is a fully charged starter battery. Any clues what I should check.
philjw
You could try unscrewing the panel then take the wires off the "on" button and joining them together in case the switch has failed.
Tracy D'arth
Check that the fuse/breaker is OK and that the panel is getting power.
philjw
There is a fuse on the panel it seems https://www.fischerpanda.de/content/C56375959C2659D556790F5E5F043A29/Fehlersuche_Flowchart_Marine_Rev2.1_eng.pdf
Martin Nicholas
The buttons are momentary switches. The switch itself is the first thing to check. A replacement can be soldered in if that's where the fault lies.
Jen-in-Wellies
I read the topic title as Fisher-Price generator. It would be made out of brightly coloured plastic, but totally reliable and impossible to break. 😀
