You miss the problem which is that changes to the August finalised list are not being communicated such that boaters can adjust cruising plans accordingly.

I believe that this will be changed, hopefully to everyone's satisfaction.

As I posted above, it is not rocket science.

Bearing in mind that CRT has published yet another Winter Notice list today without being clear what changes have been made, I would agree with Midnight that the system is not fit for purpose.

So, if I want to see the latest winter stoppages I should read through the winter stoppages list, take notes, and then ask for stoppages for navigations of interest.

This is relevant to the Rochdale which I am approaching as I am aware that some winter stoppage work was carried out when the canal was closed. I would hope that the current WS

 list has been ammended.

If you save the link to the winter stoppages rather than the document you will always get the updated document

That is only true as long as CRT does not change the URL. They have done so in the past.

Also only true if they continue to update the list. They said earlier in the month that they would not do this.

At the moment, it would appear that CRT are recreating the Winter Notices list on a daily basis but not saying if the information has changed within the previous 24 hours and what has changed since the list was finalised in August.

Well it’s more likely to be updated than a document that was saved weeks ago which is what my answer was too
