If you do intend to fit a gas system at some point in future AND you would like to use the existing pipes it would be a very good idea to fit a stop end yourself on all the open ends of the pipe/s to keep out spiders etc.  If you don’t the little critters will end up in the appliances giving all sorts of problems.

If buying stop ends, you need to measure the pipe outside diameter as some boats have imperial pipe and some have metric.

Be warned -- corks are metric (apart from that Californian mouthwash).
