If you bled the filter or the filter and low pressure side of the injector pump then you removed what air was in there before it got into the high pressure part.

I didn’t bleed anything. I just changed both filters.

If the filter head has a decent connection to the leak back pipe and especially if you filled the filter with fuel as someone said much earlier in the topic it probably self bled back into the tank.

You can’t fill the filters cos they’re horizontal on a 4LW.

Well I’ve run the engine for over 2 hours now and no problems with an air lock. 
Just in case, which nut in the fuel line, on the fuel pump, is best to slacken off to let any air escape?
