  1. She's a very comfy boat. Yes I believe they are. You can indeed!
  2. Some pictures from when I owned her:
  3. It's not a really old one and I'm fairly certain it's nothing special. Certainly not £200+ worth and not a "GENUINE VINTAGE "BUCKBY CAN" ". I'd given him £25 for it. 4. And Otter. Armstrong AS3, Parsons 'box. 59ft. Wooden cabin. Massive headroom - 6ft 9" plus. Lovely beams and boards.
  5. The Lady Hatherton has an interesting Luby arrangement. One on each gunnel, by the front bulkhead of the cabin, held on an iron frame. I can't find any pictures that show it clearly.
  6. Isn't it made of steel?
  7. Baltic has a similar back end and is one of the best handling boats on the cut (though the shape of the rest of the hull is very different). You just have to be careful in locks. That ABC boat is fugly though.....
  8. Indeed, I wondered if anyone else thought the same.
  9. What about this one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111623821535?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  10. An old liverpool working hull/barge conversion...... apparently!!! http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/Canal-Narrow-Boats-for-sale/think-its-an-old-liverpool-working-barge-nice-shape/73050#V6p7a0l8kEuD4tTy.97
  11. Gardner 2L2. £18k but comes with free boat. http://narrowboats.apolloduck.co.uk/display.phtml?aid=407050
  12. No - Just so he knows what one looks like.
  13. I've passed quite a few times and quite like the shape - even if it was unintentional.
  14. Cheers Sarah. You buy it?
  15. What about this? Given the price, I assume it must be by someone of note. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111610957479?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  16. Just go through as fast as you possibly can. The quicker you get through, the less time you have to be involved in a collision.
  17. It's a PJ. http://www.farmtender.com.au/listing/machinery-equipment/general-farm-equipment/single-cylinder-diesel-motor
  18. Just noticed the angle of the injectors. Different to the pictures of PH or PJs I can see on Google.
  19. Rocker covers look wrong for the PH or PJ though. Or did they make them with different styles? Air intake looks very similar. ETA Cooling duct that is. Sabb? ETA again - No I'm fairly certain it's not.
  20. Guy on Facebook is trying to sell this as a JP2. It clearly isn't, but what is it?
  21. He sold it about a year ago.
  22. I'm fairly certain she is 20ft. ETA - 8ft back cabin, 5ft engine room, 3ft counter and 4ft front deck would make sense.
  23. Thanks Any idea where it will be auctioned? Misunderstood your post. She would have competition!
