    It's a live situation. As has been said things change. With all the resources available there's no way road closures can be 100% accurate. Thank God you know better though TWC. There's plenty of people who have ignored closures and then needed rescuing.

    Hiring would seem to be a cheaper option for what you want. Would you even be able to get to the boat 26 weeks a year ?

    We've just bought into a boat Share. It's cheaper than hiring and how much stuff are you taking with you ? We only need a couple As has been said until we retire we haven't enough time to make it anywhere near worthwhile buying one.

    Wouldn't renting a Narrowboat be a cheaper way to see if you like it ? And have you thought of share boating for the future ? I'm not sure how much spare time you have at the moment so maybe a small share of a boat might work ?

    I've had words with a woman who left her poo bag by a bench at the park. She SAID she was going to come back for it but I suspect she wasn't.

    Apparently it's in Lang Din,. Vietnam. Better photo here and looks like a sunken ship.

    Wouldn't touch that with a bargepole. Way too cheap and front and rear suspension too - which makes the rest of it even cheaper. You'd not get much use from it before it crumbles.
