    One would think that, since the point of mobile devices is to allow the user to be mobile, mobile service providers would send a notification based on where the device is geographically located rather than where the bill payer is deemed to reside. However, we are talking about telecoms companies here...

    Ours was 16p until last month. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it hasn't doubled. Bought 200 units in September which at an average of 1kWh every two days should keep us going for a while...

    Yorkshire Water have announced that their reservoirs are now at 75% and yesterday lifted the hosepipe ban introduced in August.

    You are, of course, entitled to mangle the language in any way you choose. Maybe you also think gifted is the new word for gave. When I were a lad some of my friends at school were gifted. They still lived with their birth parents, though.

    According to Mactracker you should be able to run iPadOS 15. It's probable that the battery is end of life - only you can decide whether it's worth getting a replacement.

    Charging using what power source? I have a much older iPad3 that still charges to apparently 100% on a mains charger. Have you looked at the battery settings - does it tell you how much of the original battery capacity remains?
