  2. The Lugg aqueduct near Kingsland was built along with a section of cut, a bridge & locks but no trace these days except maybe rubble in the Lugg.

  9. Good grief what canal was that, I never needed a winch in the 70's but quite a few gates needed several people.

  17. pineapple winr works out very well, I used cartons of unsweetened juice, the fermentation was so violent it feremted out in less that a week, I had to change the airlock everyday as it was like a eruption. It made a very strong dry wine.
