  10. How did you get the nut off with the olive still clamped on?
  11. ARS is not the same company it was when I did mine, They were based about 15 miles from me in Norfolk but sold out and retired. Mine has been in use since 2002. ARS supplied the motor, the pump came from a refuse lorry. Mine is fixed ratio not adjustable that suites me. On big up side is when you get a log of wood in the prop the relief valve just lifts, no damage. I use speed wheel engine control and push /pull gear change. The main reason for the installation was full height in the back cabin.
  12. @PeterScott Can I pinch this photo please, I was telling people about the tooth rocker as the Lowestoft Gullwing bridge also runs on a toothed rail Livestream – Gull Wing Lowestoft (gullwingbridge.co.uk)
  13. Sure have Voac motor and pump sized to give approximately 2:1 drive ratio, also hydraulic bow thruster.
  14. I don't dislike the charge I am just pointing out that boats with moorings pay more to CRT that the licence fee and more than what CCs will be paying with the surcharge and don't say its so I have the convenience of somewhere to leave may car or boat, that is what the marina owner gets paid for.
  15. Does what you have already let the smell through after all that time, if not why not just use the same ?
  16. But we already pay more to CRT indirectly via the lump they take from the marina operator, he doesn't pay it, I do included in what I give him every year. In fact I am paying CRT to take my boat off the canal.
  17. SU fuel pump, common problem with the contact points
  18. I doubt a home moorer would dispose of 365 days worth of garbage per year into a CRT facility or even 365 days worth of effluent into a CRT facility
