  11. The application date for permission is dated 2013. It has been on that drive for many years.
  12. There is a narrowboat on the drive of a house in glen parva leicester. Been there as long as I can remember. this is spot on . I can say from personal experience that the worse part of noise nuisance is not knowing when it is going to start or stop. I would imagine if the noise was restricted to weekdays during working hours then I would doubt anyone would have a problem.

  15. Isn't this gazumping and if so why is an estate agent condoning it ?
  16. Just replied to your other thread. if I were you I would sell it now.
  17. Paul if its a cash buyer and a housing association to boot I would sell it. buy a boat for 30k and still have your contingency fund of 5k , happy days and you will be free of the scumbags next door . What price peace of mind or for that matter, just peace.
  18. This has just convinced me that a hull survey is the absolute minimum when buying a boat. Its tough on the op but should serve as a salutary lesson when buying a used boat . Hope you get it sorted mitchellmoxo.
  19. That sounds fantastic. My first indulgence when I move aboard is going to be a half decent telescope.
  20. And if all else fails there's always DONUTS............

  22. hi john, my house was valued at 105k but I put up for 100 so I wasnt sitting around forever trying to sell it . It is in good order and needs no work so I know it is a competitive price I just feel at times some people try it on to see how desperate you are. Unfortunately thats the way of the world.
  23. Hi alan, would never be that desperate. 82000 is 18 percent under my asking price and to me that seems a ridiculous offer but when put into a boating context people would deem it acceptable to offer 24k for a 30k boat and not bat an eyelid. It does make you question whats acceptable and whats not.
