  1. Then i shall continue to break the terms of my agreement....
  2. Is this the software that he stopped selling as he has moved to Oz? I think he still supports you if you purchased a copy, mail him! Net framework linky http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851 As above poster says, uninstall the software, then download this and install, or update, then try the software back on again.
  3. I have a HTC Desire, it has a nice little wifi hot spot option on it, i turn this on and can connect any wireless device to the phone. I use a PAYG sim using the £15 for 30 days bundle with unlimited internet. No need for tethering or having to work a way round it. I am sure there are a lot more phones out there that can provide this option, plus you can pick up these phones on ebay cheap enough and just use it for the wifi option, maybe stick it to the wall near a window and connect a charger and forget about it.
  4. Nowt wrong with Nuneaton, you can visit one of the many card shops, mobile phone shops or even a shoe shop or ten.... However if shoes are your thing then best stop at Bedworth, they have the webbed foot shoe shop there, does very good business! Just kidding, Bedrock is a lovely little place.............Kidding again
  5. Stik some photos up off the outside and inside... Maybe people can give you some ideas to finish it off cheap so you can sell on, or maybe a potential buyer can work with you to finish. I wouldnt just give up with all the time you have spent! I converted a bus into a motorhome some years ago, being stuck in it in the cold with no power tools and way to many screws to screw with only a screw driver did get me down, but i stuck with it and when i had finished i was well chuffed and proud!
  6. Get a 2nd opinion from another surveyor??
  7. Here is the shop in street view. https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=nuneaton&hl=en&ll=52.522342,-1.474027&spn=0.000007,0.004211&sll=52.842595,-2.329102&sspn=9.350822,17.248535&hnear=Nuneaton,+Warwickshire,+United+Kingdom&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=52.522342,-1.474027&panoid=nUyi9UTZWBpgj8nz3C7X-A&cbp=12,153.31,,0,0.94 And here are the directions from the bridge next to the boot pub (Now boarded up) https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Bull+Ring&daddr=Edward+St&hl=en&ll=52.518428,-1.472533&spn=0.009192,0.016844&sll=52.521832,-1.473675&sspn=0.002298,0.004211&geocode=FYFOIQMdx4np_w%3BFSZtIQMdTYLp_w&t=h&mra=me&mrsp=1&sz=18&z=16
  8. Looking at boats under £10k, some say replated in 2002/2003 how long would you expect this work to last if blacked properly ?
  9. N Now that sounds mighty fine!! Guessing this is where the OP found the spice shop info! http://beefur.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/nuneaton-to-brinklow-missing-photos.html
  10. Funnily enough, i popped in there for some Bacon on a sunday morning as its round the corner from me... No bacon!
  11. Little late now i know, but with smartphones, just install dropbox (or similar app) i have it and when i take a photo it sends it straight to my pc at home which is always powered up... Great little app, obviously you have to have a signal and if its low on battery power it will suspend the send till its charged!
  12. Ahh that will be the one before the boot pub then if you are heading north on the canal Yeah i don't think there is any shop in nuneaton that sells just spices, it must be an ethnic shop, more than likely a corner shop on Edward street. There are two, one at the top next to paws vets and one right at the bottom joining queens road, both are premier shops, but the one at the bottom on the corner of queens road and Edward street do sell more food catered to the community. Hope this helps the OP.
  13. I live in nuneaton, which one is bridge 20, the one next to the boot pub or further towards atherstone? i cant think of any shop in nuneaton that only sells spices, there are several corner shops near the canal, could be one of those!
  14. Went the boathouse in the end, have to say the steak was ace, i prefer to stay away from rump steak but it was perfect, melt in the mouth! Also it was 2 for 1 so the price was good, also nice watching the boats chug past whilst eating!
  15. Not even for meatballs and chips??
  16. I 2nd what Trackman said, i used ot live in coventry, now in nuneaton.. Its got a bad rep for some reason, but i bet those people who say stay away, if you ask them have they had issues then they would say no, but i know a man who has!! Spon street is worth a look, i think the oldest pub in coventry is there and they serve good ale! Dont pay to get in the new cathedral, the old one that bombed in the war is better and free. If you go into the city, stand outside the huge primark and look for the clock, on the hour lady godiva and peeping tom come out, still makes me chuckle when i see it! Transport museum is good. I am not sure i would want to stay there for 2 days though, not that much to do, maybe head in, have a look around, then head back out to either bedworth or nuneaton, you can get the number 48 bus back into coventry easy enough from both those,
  17. Interesting comment, have been Whilton before, i like the way they let you browse at your own pace. Do they do this at Braunston or crick?
  18. Boathouse it is then i guess. Cheers chaps!
  19. Morning, Me and wifey are off to Braunston and Crick marinas tomorrow to have a nose at some boats, pick up a few ideas and see whats on offer. Ideally going to Braunston first, then a spot of lunch and then going over to crick. Just wondered if anyone can recommend a good pub for lunch down that way? Cheers Dave
  20. Second that, used to purchase batteries from Ebay for all the Dell laptops that we had in my previous employment. Dont bother with the branded ones, cost more and dont really last any longer!
  21. I came across a site the other day that shown the canal network but you could also see certain boats that were tracked by GPS, ok some were a few days old but an app like that would be good to keep track of other boats in your area! http://www.waterexplorer.co.uk/gmaps/interactivecanalmap.aspx Found it.

  23. Would be great if this site had an actual app for andriod! I love tech and would love to see what apps people use on the cut!
  24. Just sent an update to you on the pubs on the nuneaton stretch of the covenrty, lots have closed, in fact there are only about 3-4 left now near the canal..
