  1. Oh dear! We bought one from Aldi 4 years ago...........use it a lot, makes GREAT chips actually, just had some for tea tonight!.......one of the best bits of kit we've ever bought.......wouldn't be without it!
  2. This is all absolutely Chinese to me. We have 2 pay as you go EE mobiles and an iPad Air 2. So the question is can I use this sim to watch movies on my iPad via my mobile?????????
  3. Well I've kept an eye on it and it's never gone above 13.67v so I guess it must be in float mode even though there's no ammeter on it. Thanks
  4. Very sad news. Like many others, I never met Tim but he gave me lots of advice via the Gardner engine section. I knew that soon after putting a query on there, Tim would be along with his sound advice. Goodbye Tim and Thanks.
  5. Sylglass tape ( as per #2 by Bee)
  6. and does live TV like BBC1 use exactly the same as a film ( I suppose it does)?
  7. Anyone know how much Data an hour of TV via the Internet uses? Such as Film On.
  8. I like it. How did you join the copper pipe to the plastic tube? Not clear in the photos.
  9. Yes but a decent bilge pump could have saved the boat.
  10. Sorry to intrude but I've always been puzzled as to why my Mastervolt Mass12/80 charger always fires up as soon as my genny starts even though 240volts doesn't get switched on from the genny via the Mastervolt Masterswitch for the first 5 seconds from genny startup. Any ideas? Sounds like inverter and charger are somehow connected.
  11. surely a Hep2O tee piece anywhere in the pipe between tank and tap with a vertical, transparent plastic sight tube and cutoff valve at the tee piece will do the trick.
  12. But............. How could this happen? No bilge pump?
  13. Found this http://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/diode/bypass-diodes.html Starting to look complicated!
  14. Where do you get these diodes from and is there a wiring diagram available anywhere? Are they not already in the narrow, black box where the neg and pos wires are connected to the panel?
  15. So....... Can you use this tethering system when you go abroad and not end up with a bill for £1000s when you come back off your hols?
  16. Well if the weather doesn't improve don't be tempted to install it. Wait until it's nice and dry and sunny. Cos once it's up any moisture present will be trapped. AND make sure you REALLY clean the glass before you put the film up or you'll be very annoyed when you notice that speck of dirt/smudge that you can't get at anymore!
  17. Hi I notice you say that you WILL be running on kerosene rather than diesel. Can you simply change from one to the other without any modification to the system? And does anyone run their Kabola Old Dutch on kerosene? I thought they were designed to run on diesel.
  18. Checked mine and its stays at Zero/zero when I switch it off.
  19. Definitely. I put some over my windows to provide insulation for the winter....................5 years later it's still up! Make sure you install it on a sunny, dry day to prevent trapping moisture, don't wait till winter is approaching. Do it now!
  20. A-ha! This sounds similar to the problem I'm having with my Mastervolt MICC control panel. Since I installed solar panels/Tracer 'MPPT to the domestic batteries but not the starter battery, I constantly have "ERROR STATUS RELAY ON"
