    mine is just at the side of me ,I sometimes have to place it near a window ,but I've never had to put it outside.

    I've never worked out the fuel consumption on my J3 , I was told that if I use 10 litres a day it would be a long day.

    When i bought my boat ,i only had a hull survey ,this was done by Peter Tindall , he did a very good survey and the follow up report was excellent ,as he was going round the boat he highlighted things to look out for , and explained about future maintenance ,He lives in Derby if that helps at all ?.

    Hi welcome to the forum ,I have a selection of both cigar sockets and 12 v sockets ,things like the T.V ,and small 150 watt inveter are on 12v plugs ,but the cigar sockets are good for charging things like mobile phones ,computers (if you use a voltage adaptor) ,etc
