I don't know if it the same Nottingham Boat sales, but their signs where on the door of the sales office at Redhill Marina and also on buildings nearby. Maybe they have just relocated now ? Edited...hubby says its not Nottingham Boat sales...sorry for posting, l should keep my nose out lol

It is quite interesting watching the late-evening "Repo Man" and "Send in the Baliffs" TV programmes. With a court order they can 'force' their way into a house (someones home), evict the "single mother with 6 children" and change the locks. There have been several examples of this - one at 5pm at night," local council said not our problem" she has made herself homeless by not paying the rent, nobody would do anything for her, so the baliff managed to get the landlord to give her an extra 24 hours before eviction so the various agencies were able to try and sort something out during working hours. At the end of the programme it transpired that the council had moved her into a B&B in Clacton on Sea (100s of miles away from 'home' and her part time job) with no chance of employment. Quite sad. The "authorities" seem to have no problem evicting people - why is it so difficult for C&RT ?

Koukouvagia makes a good point about tools. I don't regard them as a cost because I had them long before embarking on building my shed, and will be using them on other projects in future, but for someone who buys all the tools needed, fits out a boat, then has no plans to use those tools again, they are a cost, although they don't lose their value much if used properly. As it happens, I've broken and replaced both my drill and jigsaw during my shed project. That's just bad luck, I bought both in 1985 and have used them quite a lot over the years, so they had a good innings.

We have a very sopisticated air con system installed on our boat. In hot weather we open the windows & doors and in cold weather we close them. Works for us.

Sorry I thought it said well publicised. Now this might sound weird but I personally know loads of older ccer who do not do the Internet so I guess with the ones I don't know it would come to a lot of ccers that might never have seen the well publicised and I know from conversations I have had with CRT they also recognise this as a problem. I have personally done 4 bookings for winter moorings on the Internet for ccers that do not have internet. People forget there is a generation of people that do not Internet and have no desire to do so
