I have always thought it odd that Wales could be short of water! Having come from Essex, I had never experienced three days of non-stop rain like I did when I was a student on Cardiff.

I did and despite what you said, thanks btw, you are still saying I’m being sensationalist after me explaining why it works that way. Anyway let’s not continue a pointless argument, I just don’t want to be seen as that, I work hard for very little return with many canal trusts to try and promote them all. Just to add up until the breach I wasn’t making a penny and all of it was done off my own back. People don’t understand this about YouTube, until you get big it’s really not worth the money unless you enjoy it

Don't forget, " Propaganda" is a word coined by the Russians.

If you want people to read stuff, you have to sell it to them. It has to stand out and attract the eye. Most people making YouTube videos aren't really in it for the money, they're selling their hobby, or sharing an interest. If the pittance YT pays helps them along a bit, that's good, but no-one is going to make a fortune filming narrowboats. It's amateur in the proper sense of the word. In a sense, the money is just a way of keeping score, of knowing that you're doing something worthwhile, that people like what yiru are providing. And, as you well know, the internet has never, ever, been free. The user is the product.
