Used to regularly contribute but been vert quiet of late Trust Halsell & himself are well & his venture is working out

Junior has left the boaty world for a new career. Diesel boating is a hard life and many people do it for a year or two then move on to let somebody else have a go.

The new crew of Halsall are equally good, and I think Junior still has an occasional outing with them.

 

We are spending winter on the Rochdale and sadly Halsall does not get up here, I have to keep driving to the garage to buy diesel in Jerry Cans, its just not the same. Last winter just about all of our coal came via Halsall.

That's a surprise I had him down as a real dyed in wool enthusiast Still to the new "Gang" best of luck & "a good road"

Saw him at Wardle Lock on Friday chatting to the new crew of Halsall as we turned in to work the lock.

Our boat has a diesel engine!   You are making no sense, Have you been drinking?

I've just been in the Railway, that's a real proper rough pub...did you try it?
