Tony Brooks
To add, and I have reported this before. Some years ago Thames Water tested a number of domestic supplies and those with an under sink filter were found to on average have greater bacteriological contamination than straight tap water. The filters were an ideal breeding ground. I have also removed so called water filters from hire boats and what I found inside them would turn stomachs - specially if you had been drinking water from the filter tap. rusty69
I have been drinking water from our tank for 20 years (no filters), and have been fine all this time......well, if you exclude my twisted sense of humour, that is.
