12v system 24v battery charging.

OK, non boat situation.

 

I have a 12v supply, it's a Skoda Fabia, and I need to charge a 24v moderate ( 7 AH SLA ) battery from it. Does anyone have a really brilliant bit if kit for this please.

 

I'd happily have something plugged in the lighter socket, At a push I'd use a hard wired unit.

 

28.8v at 5a would be great.

I have been using one of these - barely gets warm with most loads and has plenty in reserve if needed
