Klanky
I first saw Mikron at the IWA rally at Waltham Abbey in 1989-ish, which was odd as I lived in Marsden, Yorksher (home of founder Mike Lucas) at the time and they used to do a fair few local pub venues at that time. I was priveleged to have many a fine evening in their company after Waltham Abbey seeing such excellent shows as 'Speed Your Shuttle' and 'Imogens War' to name a couple but eventually we moved away and lost contact with the 'scene'. I believe Mikron are still very much alive and kicking and am wondering if they are still known on the boating scene, or have they become more mainstream - for want of a better word? And, are they still as good as they were 'back in the day'?
Tim Lewis
Mikron are still going strong: http://www.mikron.org.uk Worth watching however few of their shows these days are about waterways which is a shame. Alway Swilby
We saw them at in the pub garden at Welford last summer. Great show about fish and chips. And we moored alongside their boat Tyseley.
Pete Toon
We're going strong! We've not got a waterways show planned this year. There were 40 years of waterways themed shows, but we are still keeping true to the canals - without Tyseley there would be no Mikron! This is a new page about all the show and acotrs - just released, with more being added: http://mikron.org.uk/about/all-the-plays-all-the-actors If you'd like to get mailings you can sign up here: http://mikron.org.uk/contact Pete
FadeToScarlet
I believe Tyseley's accommodation is having a refit by Roger Fuller.

Dave_P
I believe Tyseley's accommodation is having a refit by Roger Fuller. You believe right then. And very good it's looking too.
