In Praise of CRT

Between bridge 63 and 64 on the Shroppie at Market Drayton there are a dozen or so trading boats each with a couple of people on board. Most of those arrived on Thursday and it appears now that trouble was already building in the pump out and elsan disposal because it had been a bit whiffy for a couple of days.

 

Well, this morning the problem erupted with an obvious drain blockage. Now, with a dozen boats all here till the end of the bank holiday weekend this had the potential to be a definate, unpleasant, problem...especially since the loo emptied into the same blocked drain.

 

Anyway a call to CRT at about ten produced a contractor's team working on the job by late lunchtime so the problem was sorted and cleaned away by early afternoon.

 

On a bank holiday weekend, especially, I call that a fine response
