http://www.tradboatrally.com/ says it's still on in Henley, Sat and Sun July 29th and 20th 2014.

Well it doesn't seem to do too well, as Google seems to indicate it was also cancelled in 2012, and probably 2013 as well!

No trad rally this year.

 

I asked Steve who runs the Henley moorings he said it has been cancelled.

Other events at Henley (regatta, festival etc) are going to be in much the same position but I'm sure the organisers will be able to put (afford) other measures in place to protect the paying public

 

I recall a few years back at the festival, there was 2" of water on the main site field. Penguin suits and wellies. The girls were great in their posh frocks and flowery wellies

 

It was when you paddled past in the canoe with the dog on the front

Better cancel now than at the last minute.

We sent in a late entry in 2012, they took our entrance fee even though it now seems that they already knew by then that it would have to be called off. No prospect of any refunds then.

PJ the main problem is the top field at Fawley which is a bit lower and always floods. The regatta uses the lower field for hospitality as it is higher and has underground holding tanks for facility units
