A bit of impact ie, "Don't be selfish!" 24 hour mooring only. Or "Don't be a fool!" No fishing over overhead power lines.

Fishing under them isn't a problem...It's when you cast over them that the fireworks start.

Yes but which bit constitutes 'fishing?

 

The act of locating ones self on the bank with rod etc dangling the maggot in the water OR the single action of casting said maggot to it's fate.

 

If the latter Snibs sign should be 'no casting over overhead power lines......'

It is not our intention to 'play silly games'. We are just trying to gather information from real users of the canals and waterways to improve our design output. It is entirely ones prerogative to answer our questions.

Lara,

As far as I can see you have not requested permission from the Forum owners to conduct your research on the forum, which I would consider a common courtesy (although obviously not common for you).

Until you do so I shall close this thread.

 

Please do not start a new thread until you have clarified with the site owner.
