Thils was shown at the very last xmas party at Bulls Bridge Repair Yard December 1991 and some of the men shown in the film were present, the storeman who handed over the bundle of hessian sacks being one and the fitter checking the revs of the rebuilt engine on test another.

One point from the film, have I bean mispronouncing bowhauling? I assumed it was bow as in the bow of the boat (or the male equivalent of curtsey), but the narrator pronounces it as bow as in bow tie.

 

I suppose maybe bow refers to the rope, rather than the bow of the boat?
