Is the Lavender (Sh*t) boat running in Liverpool (Salthouse dock) ????

I remember that last year it was awaiting some sort of repair that was taking forever!

I believe there is a pump out at the marina but I am not convinced that a 70 foot boat could get to it.

I emailed :Liverpool Marina a weeks ago to ask that and how long into the season it ran and they said it was running and all year if necessary.

You can get a pump out at Scarisbrick Marina on way down (or back). Best to phone in advance.

Unless ur 70ft wide you will make it to the marina easily. There is a few expensive looking fibreglass fenders tho! Last year it was £10 too! Great value and gives you an excuse to boat thro the docks to the end.

The service jetty is on the first "side" of the marina buildings as you approach from salt house.

Cheers

Yes was working two weeks ago, I think it was Mon, Wed, Fri 10am to midday and 2pm to 4 pm but I think they will respond to a call out almost anytime. Still £10 for a pump out.

When are you about? There's no movement at the weekend (need to check exact days) because of the triathlon.

Booked to go into Liverpool on the 14th, currently in Manchester, where is this triathlon? Can narrowboats take part?
