bigste
What colour do you want. I remember a few years back it was raining cats and dogs. Woke up one morning near harecastle tunnel and someone had dyed the water bright orange. LOL. Be sure you use a waterproof dye.

RLWP
Ahh. Well, don't creosote them then I don't think many things are going to dye nylon. I'll do a google search If they were mine, I would consider painting them. Painted ropework was very common on sea going boats Richard MORE: I'm wrong. Lots of dyes for nylon. What colour are they now? Edited June 13, 2013 by RLWP

BlueStringPudding
Hardening back to my costume days, nylon dyes need heat - so unless you have a large saucepan you can boil the button fenders in, I would opt to paint them instead. Cottons and many other natural fibres can be cold dyed, however.
pquinn
i just use blackening, looks good but makes them very stiff which makes no difference to me.stops them sagging.
pandajulienne
I think you have polypropylene rope fenders as nylon would not be suitable for button fenders!
