frahkn
The good news is that I have had an offer accepted on a boat. The problem is that I need a hull and engine survey and do not know any surveyors, even by reputation. I need someone who will do a full survey and then stand by their report. Can anyone suggest a few names for me? Thanks. Frank.
Jo_
http://www.canalworld.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=57079&hl=surveyor#entry1082130 This will give you recent answers from forum members to the same question. We used Steve Hands for our boat four years ago; first class detailed report with photographs and he's happy to talk it all through.
Ray T
List here on Dominic's site: http://rugbyboats.co.uk/Advice-for-boat-owners-on-the-inland-waterways Curser down and click on "Surveyors" We had Eddie Freeman when we bought our boat. Full report on disc and paper. He was happy for us to ask questions whilst he surveyed the boat. Edited June 8, 2013 by Ray T

Lysander
Ian Jennings, who is listed on the Rugby Boats site, carried out the survey on our boat last year. He was very happy to have us there during the survey and produced an excellent detailed report. Happy to recommend him.
