Dog missing around Brockhall/Weedon

The 1.2.3.11 looks like an IP address, but I am not able to resolve it from my connection.

Need the techies to explain this one, I think!

It's the t-mobile image proxy. Makes images smaller/more blurry. Can only see it if you are on t-mobile's network. Stick an https:// in front of things if you want to keep its nose out of your business as t-mobile wont be able to read the web page and rewrite it with blurry images.

Unfortunately that site doesn't support https though.

Thank you!

So, am I right that anybody who looks at a web-site whilst accessing via t-mobile, and clicks right to do a "copy image location", will actually potentially end up with a URL for the image that the rest of us then can't see ?

It might explain more than a few problems in the past.

Or should I still be able to see it - just "blurrier".

Accessing via Virgin as my broadband (cable) ISP, it doesn't seem to be able to resolve any address beginning 1.2.3.11 at all......

Thanks for all the details Holly, at least now we have a picture of her.

I spoke to Steve yesterday as somebody had mentioned that there was something in the canal at Bugbrooke and the person was not sure whether it was a dog or not. Steve went to have a look and it turned out to be a dead deer, luckily not Daisy.

We will keep on looking and speak to anyone that might have possibly seen her. Hopefully we will get Steve and Daisy reunited soon

I'm pretty sure this isn't relevant, as this is two black labs that have been found- unless someone was stealing dogs to order and dumping the unwanted ones, but posted on the Just Canals FB group so worth a re-post:

FOUND: 12.12.12 Grandborough Fields, Nr Rugby - TWO Black Labradors', female, no chip/no ID. Now at pound. Contact 07415 030 166 or 0800 096 8800. Someone lost a lab from a boat around Flore, N'hants so I have been informed. So thought it might be appropriate to add on here.

**Edit** I've just phoned the owner on the number given on Dogslost and passed these contact numbers on.

I do hope the dog is home soon. I know its been mentioned before but has the dog been registered with Dog Lost they were a great help to me when my dog went missing and its surprising how many people contact you through the website and offer help even if it’s a few printed posters as it’s a great help.

Dear all. I received some information from a chap who had got stuck in a traffic jam on the M1 and he saw a dead black labrador with a red collar in the central reservation. He said the dog looked like it had been there a while. It was in exactly the same area as where Daisy went missing from. I contacted the Highways Agency and whilst they were very helpful they have not managed to locate the dog. It is possible that the dog has been disposed of which is why they can't find it. Either way, I am of the view that this was probably Daisy..right location, right dog, right collar and also explains why there were no sightings of her. We would have liked to have said a proper goodbye but at least we know what happened to her. Thank you all so much for your help and support - I can't tell you how much we appreciate it. Good luck with reuniting future lost dogs! Kind regards, Holly (& Steve) xx
