What a co-incidence there is a picture of my boat (Albion Mills) being sign painted in OXON Boat Painters advert, in the same issue of Tillergraph.

He's an ace guy. I spoke on the phone to him after following the paint or vinyl thread

A really nice chap to talk to very approachable.

I mailed him photos of my boat and it turns out he'd done the castles and roses on the cabin doors in the eighties! And the name on the boat he recognised as the work of andy russell( another decent chap by his email reply)

Dave also told me a bit about the guy who built my boat back in the eighties.

A small world on the cut !

I have found most craftsmen or women on the cut to be very helpful with tips and advice about their particular skills. Dave is very high on that list, he has given me all sorts of tips and advice on painting and is always available on the end of a phone.
