I wouldn't have thought it was a special blank - have you tried your local High St key cutters?

If my mate's Beta engine panel was standard it is a JCB key; just like Isuzu... I buy mine from Gunn JCB in Tipton but I'm sure there're more suppliers.

I broke my key so guessing they can't make a new one from the snapped key ?!

If you have both pieces of the key then another could be cut , by a proper key cutter or locksmith shop. Or ask a fellow boater with a beta to see if his key fits then just get a copy of that .

Ahhh - that could be a problem - bugger

 

Unless you can get the broken bit out

They can copy that, if they have the correct blank

Thanks guys - i do have both pieces and managed to get that piece out - so will go to a locksmiths tomorrow and see!
