We got a decent deal from ebay. It was a while back now but I remember thinking it was pretty cheap at the time. IIRC I searched "warm MR16 LED".

just ordered 6 new led bulbs off ebay, it was cheaper to buy them from the usa than from a uk supplier even with the postage

Try and get regulated ones - the cheap ones tend not to be and can go pop if you have then on while the engine is running.

This Melton Mowbray firm are both importers and manufacturers so are able to provide products sufficiently robust for boat use. They supplied us with LED versions of Alnwick's 24v railway carriage bulbs.

I would'nt go near those people again! I bought 10 supposedly regulated replacement LED bulbs from them and within weeks one by one they fizzled out. When I called to complain they said I had a problem with the DC system on my boat which was nonsense.

 

I have since bought new LED bulbs from these people http://www.bedazzled.uk.com/

 

They are excellent products and also decent people to deal with.

Fair enough, I got 4 from them once for a trailer and as far as I know they are still working, but if they were that unhelpful then yes, i'd avoid.

Try an outfit called Litewave, I think web address may be.com as they are based in Isle of Man, I have used them and they have good poducts, good prices and good service.
