alan_fincher
I believe that whilst you can buy aerosol type products to spray small areas of insulation, it would not be practical/economic to do large areas like the entire roof. Your options are, I believe, either to pay for professional spray-foaming (not cheap), or to look for another method. "Rockwool" type insulation, (probably in the form of cavity wall batts), is nearly as effective, massively cheaper, and, most importantly, something you can do yourself very easily. I'll not duplicate this reply in to the other 2 duplicate posts! Alan

blackrose
I think that bonding Kingspan to the steel with a PU sealant such as Marineflex is the best DIY option. The seams/gaps between the sheets of Kingspan can be filled by hand with cans of fire-rated sprayfoam (have a look on ebay). Aluminium tape can also be used for seams. Rick-n-Jo
There is a natural woolen one that was mentioned on it's not easy being green but i am not sure if it is suitable for boats. It comes in a kind of compressed form which you can cut or saw to the disired size. www.secondnatureuk.com I asked the manufacturers, they said no. Because it's intended to breathe, like in timber framed buildings, so would allow water vapour to reach the steel causing damp and mouldyness.
