I like the way the men at the front are posing for the picture. 

 

It is amusing to think how people's reaction to being photographed has changed over the yars. 

I always try to keep up the traditions by imposing a steely glare on anyone who dares to take a picture.

Yes I always bear in mind these old photos were a right palava to take. The photographer will have turned up with a camera about the size of a toilet cassette and a sturdy tripod, then after ten minutes of setting it all up solidly, will have given them all stern instructions not to move during the long exposure time or the photo plate will be ruined. Something to be avoided given each one probably cost a day's wages back then. So having a photograph taken was a big deal 100 years ago.
