Works again for a while and same thing happens. Many thanks Possibly a sticky pressure switch then. Dunno about Johnson pumps specifically, but shurflo use a cheap micro switch. They don't cost much. I would fit a remote pressure switch (Square D) into the pipework on the output side of the pump and use that. They also allow you to adjust the cut in AND cut out pressures.
