Staffs and Worcs Canal society 250 years plus IWA rally

Did anyone go? Not a mention of the IWA rally seems a bit sad on the Canal forum. Perhaps shows it’s standing these days but then Crick  barely got a mention too ? 

Meantime managed to get to Bratch for the S&W 250 year anniversary commemorative gathering organised by the Staffs and Worcs canal society at the locks. Over 20 boats, lovely ones at at that were there. The Staffs and Worcs Facebook page shows lovely drone pics by Andy Tidy.

This forum is not the easiest place to post rally photos, all the ones you mention have been well covered on Facebook

There used to be a forum thread each year that listed rallies, gatherings and similar events. Forum members would add info on events not already listed and afterwards people would post photos. I guess this fell by the wayside when events of all types were cancelled during covid.

There is also the Forum Events Calendar at https://www.canalworld.net/forums/index.php?/calendar/1-events-calendar/ but that hasn't had any events listed since September 2016!
