Is the heading for Waterways News forum a bit out of date?

BW? Who were they?

BW were a lovely government company who were constantly starved of funds, probably overstaffed, and who did their best to keep the canals in reasonable condition.

The Gov't of the day wanted rid of this anachronism and 'put it up to "auction".

Somebody from the London Underground acquired it, IIRC...
