Anfield Boats?

Thinking of going to look at a  boat purported to be built by Anfield Boats. I have heard of Liverpool  and Aintree Boats but Anfield Boats? Anybody know anything about them, any views on their reputation?

A bit more digging and I have found out it was Skater Marine, the ashes from Aintree boats grew.

I think their owner used to post on here, some years ago.

I think they went bust around the time that cars stopped having 'hub-caps' and went over to alloy wheels.

There was then a shortage of 'cheap' steel in the Liverpool area.

Skater apparently ceased trading in 2010 and Aintree was launched shortly afterwards, with some of the ex-Skater staff.
