Graham, blue men group, excellent fun,seen then in vegas ,last year..

we had a TRAD from middlewichboats last xmas trying to master.throttle/gear(ahead`n` astern)/and tillar,took some getting use to it all came together in the end,never mine boat being slippy,the towpaths were very/very slippy.but we enjoyed it. and looking f/ward to this xmas.

we`ve been on the canals for the past 18yrs.and xmas 2009 was the 1ST.winter holiday we`ve had,it was fantastic... the ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS.- - - - ICE AROUND WATER POINTS(ANDERTON LIFT SERVICES) AND THE LOCKS ON THE CANALS.thats my only moan phoned up British Waterways,on our return home (i-o-m)and complained/moaned,and the reply was we`ll look into it. i suggested putting salt bins at water points and locks ,with BW LOCKS or HANDCUFF LOCKS,on the bins,the girl replied that they would be abused by people.so apart from that we had a great time,as we always have. -
