I enjoy this thread - always a little excited when I see someone has posted on it since my last visit ...the thread often goes 'off piste' but these have always been added attractions - for me anyway I posted here earlier asking about Atlanta - cant now find that post? - but if that question is behind the references to off piste comments here now, my question was absolutely NOT a criticism - I thought I might have missed a notice of sale..

Hi I have my boat booked for docking towards the end of March - looking for advice please: Where is the best place to buy caulking/oakam, tar and everything else I will need..? What else do I need to do it properly..? ( Its been 20 years or so since I helped caulk a boat and those days are a bit of a blur now ) Cheers Jon

Taken this morning ....

Bought a new battery as the existing one was totally flat .....its coming Friday and although she doesn't make any water through the hull I will admit to be slightly on edge waiting for its arrival....

..I have something like that in Progress - picture attached..its a nice idea - sans bucket! , but stops you being able to sit directly opposite the stove - or to have 2 people sit there so I am considering taking it out.. ..also have a shower! between bed ole and engine that means the bed runs length ways ( and has to be put up and down) so considering taking that out also and putting a bed 'ole back in...just need to find a proper sized handbowl first!

...the best things to feed your dog is what nature intended so a raw diet...kibbles however expensive are packed with carbs which isn't what they need..dogs can live on them but its not whats best for them..
