    Ardintigh, actually. I have often looked across at his place on Loch Nevis when staying with Son No 1 in Knoydart. Loch Nevis, BTW, in what you may refer to as Jockspeak, means 'Loch of Heaven', so whales do go to heaven. http://www.outdoorcentrescotland.co.uk/

    On our first trip through Harecastle, younger son, then aged about 10 (ie about 35 years ago) absolutely refused to go through, so after making sure there was a clear track, we sent him by himself over the top. He arrived before us, having run the second half for fear of being stolen by the gypsies encamped on the top. He never refused a tunnel after that. (sorry if this tale is ethnically unacceptable - I'm just reporting what he said. )

    Just come out of a 24 hour power cut due to the storm. There are tree branches all over the roads.

    Well it obviously made sense to the 13 people (so far) who gave it a greenie. Edited to say that those 13 didn't include me, as I don't entirely agree with Arthur's definition. I as usual agree with his views, but 'woke' has become a perjorative term because of all the extremists jumping on its bandwagon.
