  1. In my case I went found it with sealant when I found it but it was the good coating of Sprayfoam om the inside that held it and kept things watertight

  3. I don't think so, 18 tons pushing the fitting at 3 mph against the edge of a heavy duty( I don't know the name) steel pile something is going to give
  4. I have had two shear off when they have caught protruding steel work, thankfully not at the water line or below, This one was quite close down and I changed it out while in drydock

  11. With just connections at the top it must be impossible to change out the coolant without the use of a pump

  13. If you take both the hoses off mine it soon empties, just take the bottom one of and it takes a little longer Maybe an opertunity to have a drain fitted at the bottom to make it easier to change the coolant every few years

  18. I think it needs a section for waterway photographs, not a thread, they get lost when they are not constantly in use.
  19. Actually it would be a fantastic resource that could be looked back on when things change, Just think if there were photos of say Birmingham there from just 20 years ago and in another 5 years it will look different again.
  20. To keep a boat compliant with the RCD/RCR if you do any work to it they , as I now understand it are not "the rules"
