  3. Getting along nicely. Even though it' not as planned, it must be nice to sit down have a proper meal and a shower and real bed for the night. You will enjoy the Macclesfield and peak forest so much more. Your inspiring me to actually get of my bum and do a proper walk or cycle ride next year. I keep threatening it.
  4. I would. Even though were in caen hill marina I haven' dine the flight since i was a kid. Blame the missus she went to her mum's in the car. I will keep an eye on more requests.

  7. So it's perfect to go one side of the marina to the other, pump out and return. Although if they stick it at caen hill, it will never have enough power to manoeuvre about with the mini permanent wind storm there.
  8. We could never out run the old bill. Every time we did manage it, upon returning home they were already in the front room having a cuppa with the parents. The bobbies back than knew where everyone lived.
  9. I wanted to help. Sorry. But at home not the boat.

    thank my tv

Never knew who they were but I'm sat up going through the forums and it's on my tv. I have found myself bobbing away to it. Top stuff. Eta I recognise this one.
  13. If you had got him in the summer I suspect you' be much closer to city. He won't stay long. Either the two Manchesters or Barcelona/Madrid will come calling. But pleas we could do with around 70mill. Next season you will come for lemina. Anyway as you were.

  16. I can reply. I have nothing to add but I can reply. Me thinks this is an anti royal thread. I'm not convinced the royal family can be accused of free loading. After all they do work to earn their keep.
  17. Oh no, you have just become my arch nemesis. How could you support Southamptons b team. No a different note. There's no chance of us being in the final so at least I can attend the wedding.
  18. I can't stand people who have their sat nav riht in the middle of the screen. The view that blocks is unbelievable.
  19. Good luck. Keep the updates coming. The temperature has like you say just risen enough. I wish you the best. Adrian
  20. You say that and i dont actually disagree with you but I bet in most cases of legionaires, the water originally came from the water company. In my job we have to tempiture check the hot and cold water and we also have to flush every tap through once a week. Off course we don' have a cold water tank that I'm aware off.
  21. On the same token all drivers should have to do some cycling and see how vulnerable they are. Whilst being passed at 60 mph 6 inches away. Or see how easy it is to get knocked off when a vehicle pulls out of a junction. I agree with you but it works both ways.
  22. And that's why they are so good. You can fix them anywhere and if you can't, they take a bodge very well. I used to drive a series 1 ex army one. It just kept going. It never went on the road it never stopped going.
  23. There was a widebeam by us with underfloor heating. However it wes not the only source of heating, I believe it was just a comfort thing. They pumped hot water around, I think.
  24. With a decent bivy and sleeping bag you should be ok. I go wild camping but prefer to go in a hammock. Have you thought about taking a decent tarp and setting it up over the bivy. Keep some wind and rain off and somewhere to put stuff. A walking stick and paracord can make amazing shelters. Of course mine gets string across two tress. I realise you may know this already. With an underblanket this is super cozy in the winter.
