  11. Don't see why not. I'm thinking of making some smoked bacon and onion ones and serving them with has browns and grilled tomatoes.
  12. Is 1.5m an accurate max draft for the mooring? How far off was the boats max draft that you were considering?
  13. You only need a tiny bit of bacon or salmon. A little goes a long way in this recipe.
  14. Add two eggs, a small tub of reduced fat soft cheese, chopped spring onions and smoked salmon trimmings to a large bowl. Mix well and season with pepper. Portion into a muffin tray and bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. Works with lots of fillings. A breakfast alternative is smoked bacon and onion served with hash browns and grilled tomatoes.
  15. Add grated sweet potato, grated mature reduced fat cheddar, reduced fat cottage cheese, two eggs, chopped spring onions and chilli and a few spoons of self raising flour to a large bowl. Mix well and add mixed herbs and pepper. Portion into a muffin tray and bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.

  21. For the past couple of years and this year also our boat will be ashore from mid November to March. We start off with the diesel tank full but the diesel heater uses fuel. Last time it used about a third of a tank over the winter period. We have not noticed any water in our diesel as yet.
  22. He is very lucky and gets to work on some very nice cars. Gets to drive them as well lucky sod. We have been using aluminium anodes for four years. I can assure you they also work in fresh water. We stripped the drive back to bare metal last year and there was not a sign of corrosion anywhere on it.
