  1. Yes, of course he’d have known that of course, I obviously underestimate him, also thinking about it he’d have revealed his location to the filth by being the only one with a big pump on the side of his tree
  2. do you think Robin Hood would have stopped chopping down his neighbours’ trees to heat his own tree if the council had given him a grant for heat pump?
  3. as a rule I tend not to kill anything, the spiders get a free run on the boat ‘cause they kill the flies, thing with a trap how can you guarantee it’ll kill something out right ? and the victim ain’t gonna die an agonisingly slow death, and then you got deal with the mess, I used to go out shooting rabbits till I realised I was maiming more than I was killing. used to live on a farm and farmer would put down poison, killed the rats ok but then they rotted and the smell took a few weeks to a month to disappear, mind with the dogs that’d rolled in badger and fox shit one got used to the awful smells
  4. Someone has a leaky squirrel that needs snuffing out
  5. Saw a dead pigeon floating in its back with its legs up in the air today, that weren’t your doing was it? yesterday it was a dead rabbit I passed, and a few days before there was a dead dear, is there no stopping you?
  6. dunno it’s always too bright I have to have me eyes shut
  7. None of us have to look if we don’t want to, but if it encourages people to get out and boat it’s all good stuff, here’s a photo from a year ago, under Spaghetti Junction.
  8. I’m, Red green brown colour blind, the green of a navigation light to me appears towards white as does the green of a traffic light, so I easily see the difference between the red and green, Im more likely to get the green and white lights mixed, now if you took a single poppy and placed it on a nicely kept lawn I’d not be able to find it, Red apples in trees is another loss, but green apples in trees I see because I see the different greens and looking up at the stars is a loss on me, colour wise, it’s all very odd but really very interesting,
  9. good news; https://blabbermouth.net/news/watch-struggle-to-shift-black-sabbath-bench-proves-it-really-is-heavy-metal
  10. The etchings have gone, I wonder if it’s been vandalised and they’ve had to remove them?
  11. Was it big? could have had fried rat on a stick, or made it in to a novelty slipper,
  12. It would have been more fitting, wouldn’t it? but it seems it was important to place the Bench on Broad Street, the Birmingham Walk of Stars, And I don’t think CRT had much to do with it other than accept it and of course appear for the opening and grab some limelight, here’s good link to the bench: https://blacksabbathbench.co.uk
  13. I think so, and perhaps less likely to stick, but equally a fashion thing? maybe it harks back to the early days of the modern kitchen? who wanted to cook in a black cauldron or cook like a gypsy, a bit of bright colour in the kitchen was needed just as the old fashioned cooking ranges are now enamelled and bright, dunno 🤷‍♀️ just an idea, copper pans are good for quick boiling aluminium pans are good for dementia …I forget which

  15. yes I think that’s the big difference, because the canals in Brum are a destination they get plenty of footfall which makes them feel safe, and they’re more ‘open’, Im thinking around the Sea Life Center, the Arena, Brindley Place, Gas Street and so on the canal through Manchester is used as a passage and is mainly out of the public eye, it’s quite hidden in places and can feel ‘closed in’ attracting some dodgy goings on which makes it feel less safe, kids chucking stones and getting on the boat can happen anywhere, but nowhere gives me the shudders like Cov and Nuneaton,
  16. Le Crueset, everytime, …we don’t have to be part of the Union to buy French 👍
  17. yes I liked the Wagon and Horses, on/by the traffic lights? cant remember if they had wifi £2.75 on a Tuesday here down south in the midlands
  18. I can always wait til after church
  19. you should have had it last year
  20. I’d have thought they’d all be in church up your way on a Sunday morning, what you mean by ‘a typical cell’ ? do mean they get internet in prison too?
  21. as long as I can watch me Eastenders free of glitches or buffering, nowt worse then the screen freezing just as one of the Slater’s are mouthing off.
  22. I find there are places where the speed is slow until the evening when the speed picks up. I can only concur there’s less consumption of ‘stuff’ by the local offices/businesses/schools as they clock off for the day.
  23. I was going to suggest having it welded, bit late now. Must be something on eBay? I’ve an enamelled pot and it’s great, spends most it’s time on the stove. If you can only find an enamel replacement then it’ll be fine. Worth spending the money on, last a life time(till you drop ‘em 😃) Just reread your post, I thought you’d only threw the lid away but did you throw the pot too? If you’re looking for a complete new pot then you won’t go wrong buying one of them French enamel pots, biggest you can find, perfect.
  24. am I correct thinking Turner would have stood here looking towards the castle?
  25. Yeah, I’d looked on map and saw there were a couple of churches , but wondered if he’d shifted them and perhaps made more than could be seen, I’d say you’re right and there are 2 distinctive churches to fit the bill but I think they’d be just hidden from sight.
