  2. Anyone local to Napton locks know how the work is progressing? They had quite an extensive amount of work scheduled They're supposed to be opening on 19th December having been closed since early November

  4. Nudge nudge wink wink ..................... say no more
  5. Gardners are ok in light gray as, aledgedly, they don't leak oil When my JP stops oozing it's life blood out, it means the sumps empty
  6. The grey doesn't work as well as the green to hide the oil leaks
  7. It comes up on my PC. But I think I may have a flicker account Good photo of him to
  8. Can you take your tiff somewhere else. You know who you are............. This is a good thread that has stayed pretty much on topic for a long time Please don't spoil it by turning it in to another 'lets trade personal insults at each other'

  10. He's a boy .......... of course he'll look
  11. I reported and asked the Mods to edit it this morning shortly after it was posted I usually very supportive of the Mods, but their lack of what would be a very simple edit, I think is very wrong ......... or of course 'Jim Riley' could edit it himself
  12. If my math is correct, for a boat with a 10 tonne volumetric displacement, about 20 hours
  13. Was it 2009/2010 that had a prolonged cold spell of below zero temperatures for several weeks as well. I know there were many boaters who ran out of water, coal (it must have been bad cos Dusty couldn't get through) etc
  14. Insulation only slows the rate of heat/cooling. The transfer process still happens - eventually Without some form of heat added, the pipework/pumps/tank will freeze
  15. Question for Chop How much does the bike limit access through the front doors ........... just pondering
  16. Early in the New Year is the plan. There's a few bits I want to tidy up and a few things that need fixing, that I've 'lived with', but a new owner would expect to work But yes, I will let the forum know Apparently you gals "can never have enough drawers" ............... and you have to put things away after you've used them. What's that all about
  17. I do like the gear driven change more than the push/pull. It just looks/feels more robust Bit worried about a converted drill being able to take the stress on the teeth though
  18. I hope it does Richard's slip is one of the few affordable places in the area where Ocelot can come out
  19. There's a big difference between overbright and bloody useless. On ye olde M21 the light was ok as matched the speed capability of the beast. I suppose in some respects the same is true with a NB, but you might need some light to get to the walls
  20. It had better not be. I'm planning to bring Carinya from Crick back home to Thrupp over the Christmas New Year period. She's just been blacked ........ although I do like a bit of ice breaking: http://youtu.be/qjqh4D-V9AM
  21. You're having a laugh! It'll have Lucas 6v "Prince of Darkness" electrics
  22. His non compomising attitude over the shape of his boats has made them a well recognised brand We were looking a getting one built and his basic statement was, "I have the bow and stern, what you do in the middle is up to you (within reason)" He would be a tough act to follow
