Typical bollocks. They said "It hasn't been drained for 20 years" It was done in 2009 that's 15 in my book. And using a pump what is that about why not use the proper drain plug?

Nowhere near any canals but the River Torridge was still running out under Bideford Bridge over 2 hours after the tide was supposed to have turned just shows how much fresh is coming down. -

I used to use one like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314586084755? Plugged into a USB socket halfway down the boat. It was only 2.4ghz but worked well enough although that one appears to be 2.4ghz and 5ghz.

Worked fine on Smarty (3) but I've had to migrate to EE as the tablet is locked to EE and their unlock code doesn't work.😟 It works fine on EE as well, I have a spare EE SIM with 20gb left on and I'm using about 0.1gb a day even with extensive testing so that will last a while😉

If you did remote monitoring then when you are hanging out in the far east you could see that your charger has failed and your LA batteries had discharged past the resuscitation point 🤪

As an update to this I have ditched the phone as it wasn't allowing a restart of TeamViewer Host without manual intervention and got an old Huawei T3 7" tablet with a SIM slot to replace the phone. It now doesn't need local input after a restart. TeamViewer Host now runs after a reboot using Start Up I have also enabled location sharing on the caravan account so I get location info on my phone. 🤔

We decided to fit one like this When we re did our house. No ash, no mess, no storing and drying of logs. As it happens we rarely use it as reaching for the remote control is sooo hard🤔
